Didn\u2019t take\nlong to break that one, did it? Seems to be Mr Johnson&#8217;s favourite\npass time, breaking the rules and getting away with it. Can\u2019t get\nanything railroaded through parliament so let\u2019s call for a new\nparliament that will do what it\u2019s told. He seems to think even the\nlaw of the land does not apply to him. What Boris wants, Boris gets!\nI have Tuesday night as a deadline for this blog. No chance of being\nupdated by the time this goes out on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What about the dithering Jeremy?\nRefused to come down one side or the other. Wanted to be a main ball\nplayer but had no idea where the ball was. He was the last leader to\ndecide what his party was doing and then tried to take the credit for\ntaking the lead. Listening to drive time on the radio while I worked\nI heard someone from Labour say \u2018if the Scots want rid of the\nTories they should vote Labour and not waste their vote by voting\nSNP\u2019. Okay, the hardened unionist will buy this line but have they\nnot seen the Labour for independence movement? Many of their flock\nrealise the only way to save Labour in Scotland is to become truly\nindependent from British Labour by reforming in an independent\nScotland<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whoever he was he has not been paying\nattention to what is happening in Scotland. As always in a\nWestminster election they only look to England for their sums when\ncounting parliamentary seats. Labour has well and truly lost Scotland\nbut they don\u2019t seem to know it. Talk about heads in the sand. They\nhave seven MPs here. One of which the Unite Union tried to get\ndeselected. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for the Tories (in Scotland). Ruth\nresigned as the leader and no-one has yet stepped up to the mark. Why\ncould that be? Might it be something to do with the literature the\nposties are delivering? Two versions so far with Ruth plastered all\nover them, no mention of Conservative and unionist policy, but plenty\nof SNP bad and stop the independence ref 2. The Scottish Conservative\nMPs have done nothing to speak up for Scotland. It\u2019s all very well\ngetting on your hind legs to ask for sympathy when a business goes\nbust or to congratulate a community on some award they have received.\nWhat have you campaigned on at Westminster to improve the lives of\nyour Scottish constituents? Nothing but government voting fodder.\nHope you all get what you deserve from the voters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vote has just come in. Thursday the\n12<sup>th<\/sup> it is.
